  “Damn. How gorgeous are you?”

“Being like one of my cats feels amazing.”

“Are you naked under your dress?”

  Her skin tingled. “Yes.”

He shifted halfway, too. “Take it off.”

Eager to please him, she lowered the garment and stepped out of it. She let him take a nice long look. Then, feeling deliciously feral, she trailed a claw down the front of his shirt and popped every single button.

He laughed and grabbed her, pushing her against a tree. They kissed deep and rough, like the shapeshifters they were.

  “Turn around,” he said.

She did his bidding and planted her hands on the bark. He shoved his jeans down and thrust full hilt inside her. While he pumped his hips, while he fucked her good and hard, she scratched the wood. She even carved a big jagged heart into it.

He snarled lustfully against her ear. “This is going to happen fast.”

Fast worked for her. She pushed back against his thrusts, making it even more savage.

Noah pressed a hand against the front of her pussy, rubbing back and forth. He detonated her clit, and she went off like a bomb, sparks shooting from her core.

One orgasm down. More to follow.

He made her come, too many times to count. She loved being a she-cat. This was her destiny, the untamed creature she was meant to be.

Noah scraped the back of her neck with his canines. It didn’t matter how animalistic he got; she could take it.

She could dish it out, too.

She screamed like a banshee, like a female lion, all sexed up. That made her mate come. He trembled, shuddered, and released a fierce growl. Rife with carnal need, he thrust one last time, and his semen shot out.

Jenny caught her breath and closed her eyes. Sublime pleasure. Noah held her quietly.

A short time later, she put her dress back on, and he righted his pants. They sat under the tree, both of them still in half-cat form.

“Have you shifted all the way yet?” he asked her.

She nodded. “It was the most freeing feeling. Have you done it since you turned me?”

“No. But I’ve been cooped up in the city. Maybe we can do it together tonight?”

She smiled. “Absolutely.” Mountain lions were wonderfully nocturnal, and now Jenny was, too. She gestured to the hills on her land. “We can enjoy our own private sanctuary.” She glanced in the direction of the house. “Are you going to move in with me?”

“Damn straight, I am. I’m going to keep the club, too, but I’ll hire someone else to manage it. Maybe one of the vampires.”

“Are you ever going to forgive Lareina?”

“Deep down, I think I already have. Without her, Coyote, and the sapiya, you couldn’t have tricked me and we wouldn’t be together like this.” He stretched out his legs. “That reminds me—what are you going to do about the sapiya? Are you keeping the stone or are you going to set it free?”

“I’ll do whatever it wants me to do.”

“It’ll probably choose to remain with you.” He spoke reverently. “Who wouldn’t want to be with you forever?”

She leaned forward and kissed him, and as the kiss intensified, so did their instincts, their hunger.

They tumbled in the grass, anxious to make love again. And this was how it was going to be for the rest of their lives, she thought.

  Hot. Thrilling. Dangerously meaningful.

They’d created a new fairy tale, a new kind of eternity.

“Beast and the Beast.” Wild ever after.
